Singing River Healthcare Academy will honor dozens of graduates preparing to enter vital healthcare professions during its 2026 Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, October. 15, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pascagoula Performing Arts Center.
The ceremony will begin with the Presentation of Flags and the National Anthem, followed by remarks from state and system leaders. The program will also include a distribution of certificates honoring Singing River Healthcare Academy Apprentices.
Graduates will be recognized across five healthcare programs—Surgical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Associate, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, and Pharmacy Technician—with each graduate pledging to uphold the values of integrity, service, and excellence in healthcare.
Each program includes a pledge affirming dedication to patient care:
- CNA graduates commit to purity, confidentiality, and faithful service.
- Surgical Technician Pledge a heartfelt promise to uphold surgical integrity, compassion, and excellence in safety.
- Medical Assistant Pledge an affirmation of loyalty, ethics, and service to the well-being of all people.
- Pharmacy Technician Pledge a commitment to uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethical behavior, and honor; to foster professional competency through lifelong learning; to support colleagues in their pursuit of excellence; and to maintain the ideals necessary to ensure quality care for all patients.
- Phlebotomy Technician Pledge a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and compassionate care while ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of every patient.
Graduates entering the healthcare workforce play an important role in strengthening the future of healthcare across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. By preparing skilled healthcare professionals to serve in a variety of essential roles, Singing River Healthcare Academy helps build a stronger workforce and enhances Singing River’s ability to continue providing quality care to the communities it serves. These graduates are not only beginning new careers, they are becoming an important part of the healthcare team dedicated to serving patients and improving the health of our community.
